Puerto Deportivo is a really nice little outcrop of rocks that form a separation between De Mal Beach and Poniente Beach.
I wouldn't really call it a tourist site but it does make for some great photographic opportunities and it's a nice walk out to the edge of the breakwater were you can take in stunning views of the sea and the wonderful beaches, there are also innumerable yachts here that look really cool.
Puerto Deportivo is easy to locate by walking along the promenade to the Old Town.
Interesting but not an essential tourist destination.

Crowded, loud, full of pooping birds. There is no reason to go here. There is no reason to go to Benidorm at all unless you want to get drunk or you are old and fat and want to walk around topless. The whole place is disgusting and definitely worth missing. Left two days early. Couldn't stand the noise or the drunks.

The port/marina area is located between Ponienta and de Mal Pas beaches and where you catch the ferry to Benidorm Island. You can walk along the breakwater and look over the marina towards Ponienta Beach and the southern area of Benidorm. Although not worth a specific visit, most visitors will pass it as they walk between beaches and so you might as well stroll along the breakwater whilst there.

After fighting thru the crowds of shoppers this is a great place from kids to Grandparents. The harbour is small but this is where the tourist boats go from and there are enough Bars/Cafe and Restaurants on the Harbour edge. For me it is the BEACH here that makes it great especially for kids.

We like it here after fighting our way through the old town. its a relaxing spot right on the edge of the old town, and start of Poniente beach. A few times we have been here there has been a choir singing A nice view of the port and the beach ,with plenty of shops and bars in the area.
