Simply wonderful location. Lots of cafe bars restaurants and shops. Blue flag beach and friendly locals and tourists. Out of season weather is of course understandably unpredictable otherwise wonderful Calpe!

I took a 1 hour 30 Euro tour from the rental shop at Calle Colon and we went along the long prol by the sea on a windy Father’s Day today.
We went through the port and around the penon on an ecological no cars route where there were info boards on tclimbs possible up the rock face and the underwater routes.
Luckily I also saw a pod of dolphins some if them jumping out of the water heading to the Canaries to give birth.
The prom is well kept, had plenty of walkers and some electric bikes.
There are several cafes at Calle Colon end and both the bus and the little train tour can be accessed here too.

Spent a great week in Calpe and enjoyed daily walks along the promenade. It is very easy walking and there are various watering holes that have to be tested. A bit windy at times.
