A twist on Japanese. Fabulous food & service from friendly staff who apologised that their English wasn’t good but I was in Spain so I should apologise for my poor knowledge of their language!! No white table cloths but a great evening out in Valencia- will definitely and look forward to eating the scallops again, return highly recommend

The combination of excellent multi-flavour food and friendly professional service by Marina & Carlo made Karori one of the two best dining experiences in Valencia.

We will return to try even more of the tasty and creative dishes.

Even for lunch at January 4th 2018 at 2.30 p.m. no table without reservation. At the Entrance they tell you, that you must make a reservation one week ahead!
A disgrace not to make a notice on the homepage that a reservation is needed (and walk-in guests a not wanted)

I can’t add much to the previous reviews but can thank TA reviewers for encouraging us to dine here.
Kaori is in the very up and coming Ruzafa District. Do not expect white table cloths but do expect talented and creative chefs and enthusiastic and helpful staff who want you to love what they do - and we really did!!!
The menus are also in English but ask for recommendations, every dish was a delight. As the restaurant says, this is “unusual“ Japanese food. Our daughter, who lives in London, accompanied us. She loves sushi and declared this Japanese food amongst the best she had eaten. The cost, with two bottles of wine, was under €40 per head which we considered great value. We ate a lot!!
You will definitely have to book, we saw several disappointed hopefuls having to be regretfully turned away and it wasn’t even the weekend. This place is very popular with a lively atmosphere.
Take a stroll, as we did, afterwards. The area is buzzing with small bars & restaurants - all packed with the lucky locals who have these great places on their doorstep!

A little place for a cosy evenning. We recommend!!
We went there for diner. The service was excellent, the food was original and full of flavours. We recommend to follow the waiters advices. They led us to a great variety of dishes. We wouldn't recommend the tsukune which was not exceptional.
