Situated between the Old City and the beach and overlooking the Arts and Sciences buildings which are absolutely magnificent this hotel was perfect for us. We searched online for the best deal and then emailed the hotel to see if they would price match - they gave us a better price and if you are over 55 years old they apply a further discount. The hotel upgraded us to a delux room with view and credited us with 29 euros to spend on anything at the hotel.
The breakfast buffet was 16 euros each - way more than we would spend so most days we had a light breakfast at a little cafe about two minutes from the hotel. They offer a fixed price continental style breakfast at very reasonable prices. However you can buy individual items from the breakfast buffet at the hotel and have them charged to your room so that is how we used our 29 euros credit - breakfast for two days.
The staff at the hotel are very friendly and helpful, the room was super clean as was every other part of the hotel. The air conditioning unit was very quiet and the soundproofing of the room was excellent so we slept really well. There is a blind and shades in the room so you can choose how much light to let in. The safe deposit box is free to use and shampoo, shower gel and body lotion are provided. The room was serviced daily and towels and bed linen were fresh and clean.
My one complaint is about the size of the swimming pool - it is so tiny, about 10 feet by 15 feet that you cannot possibly swim in it. Indeed there are signs at poolside stating max number of people in pool is 6. The pool opens at 11.00am until 8.30pm and we were able to get a sun lounger every time we went but it did get very busy late in the afternoon. On our last day after checking out we relaxed by the pool and then used the showers near the gym to freshen up. The changing facilities were great with shower gel dispensers in the showers. Our luggage was safely stored behind reception and we were given a ticket when we handed it in which we then returned in order to reclaim our cases.
In addition to the lovely walks near to the hotel there are two major shopping centres nearby with lots of cafes and a food hall where you can buy reasonably priced snacks and meals.

Room Tip: Ask for a room overlooking the Arts and Sciences buildings. 4th floor was fine.

When we booked to go to Valencia we were slightly unsure about this hotel due to the location but the location is perfect! From the airport, we got the metro to the hotel which cost €8 for two of us then was a 10 minute walk to the hotel. Then on the way back we got a taxi which cost us €25 and there are constantly taxis outside the hotel. The facilities in the hotel are fantastic. We hired bikes from the Hotel which I'd highly recommend, for 1 hour it's only €5 each and there are other options to hire for longer. We also used the Spa, definitely worth doing this for just €12 each with a variety of showers, sauna, steam room and hydro beds. Note you do have to wear a swimming cap so if you have one at home bring it along to save you buying one for €3 at the Spa. The rooftop bar is great with amazing views. We went here for a drink almost every night of our stay. Cocktails are priced around €8 and are really nice. The pool on the roof is a great place to chill out, albeit not very big but was perfect for us to cool down in. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that but there is a fridge in the room so we kept some snacks in there. We booked a deluxe room with a city view which I would highly recommend. The room was spacious and clean and the views of the arts and science centre were beautiful. Well worth the extra money. Only thing was the room didn't have an iron, luckily we read up on this earlier so took a travel iron.

To get around the city, you can walk through the park which is gorgeous or get the bus from right outside the hotel for just €1.50 per trip.

All in all, this hotel was perfect for us and I'd highly recommend it.

Amazing hotel and highly recommended:
1. Location is a strength point of this hotel, located in front of the City of Arts and Sciences, in addition to being 5-7min away from the port, the beach and La Plaza de La Reina.
2. Easily accessible via car, bus and taxi.
3. The room was very clean and spacious.
4. Bed is really comfortable.
5. The hotel has a nice small pool on the 10th floor, where you can enjoy the view while tanning or enjoying the cold water of the pool.
6. Staff were really friendly at the check-in time and we had a problem with our window, which was solved by a staff member at 5am with no complaints, only with a simle on his face.
7. Parking is available on sight for EUR 16 per day, which is not bad.

The only downside of the hotel is that the spa closes on sundays and mondays, in addition the AC keeps on turning off every few hours.

Highly recommended hotel in Valencia :)

We loved the location and the view of the city of arts and sciences. The hotel was lovely and close to some lovely restaurants and sites.
The spa was slightly overpriced although it was a nice thing to do. I would definitely recommend.
