You don’t want to miss this experience! There are more expensive hotels in Matera but I doubt they match the views from the balcony of our room. We savoured every sunrise and sunset just outside our door. Friendly service and great restaurant as well. We loved our stay here.

Exceptional hotel experience! They combine a fabulous location in the historic center with outstanding customer service. The team of Giovanna, Betty, Angela and others were all so welcoming and helpful. We had a problem with our next hotel for the next day in another town and the Palazzo team worked so hard and diligently to find us a replacement. I was so impressed and grateful for their efforts!
From the cold drink they offered on arrival to the superb dinner in their restaurant, everything was perfect! This is the best hotel experience!

This is one of the most unique places we’ve have stayed in Italy. The room is so so big, the bed was a cloud and I did not want to leave it 🤣 The staff is absolutely friendliest , they were fun, helpful and great with recommendations. the food is the delicious at the restaurant and you get great wine advise as well. Would recommend to anyone!

Beautiful hotel and beautiful rooms, the luxury suites were amazing and so spacious. Staff were lovely and very helpful. The breakfast in the hotel was great and in such a beautiful setting being in the cave. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend Matera and Palazzo del Duca!

Palazzo del Duca is great stay in Matera! Their staff is very friendly and helpful! We stayed one night for our honeymoon and they gave us a nice amenity due to our celebration, we tried their restaurant at night and it was incredible! If you stay with them and go to the restaurant you have a 10% discount in your food which is very convenient!
We also had breakfast at their hotel and it was great as well! Overall, great experience and great service.
