Please do yourself a favor and enjoy a meal here- if you are reading this review, you have no excuse. GO! ENJOY! EAT GOOD LEAVE AND BE HAPPY!

By far the best meal we've had in Salerno. So fresh, so delicious

The staff was exceedingly friendly and happy. For a 2euro service fee, there is mineral water, sparkling water, AND red & white wine on tap. Serve yourself... yes, you heard that right- water & wine on tap.

The menu changes but based on everything we had I'm going to expect whatever is on the menu is worth tasting.

A complimentary starter of pasta cresciuta (fried pizza dough balls), we said "Oh, will just have a couple..." ended up eating the entire plate.

My boyfriend had the fusilli with sweet green peppers- photos don't do it justice but it was a good sized portion and absolutely delicious. Fresh pasta and dainty but flavorful sauce.

I had the mixed grilled fish which was two nice pieces of the most savory swordfish I've ever had, a large piece of cuttlefish which was perfectly grilled, and 5 shrimp- plus a fresh salad.
We then split a tiramisu which was created on the spot- creamy and delicious (have I used that word too many times?).

We left full, happy, and in love with Pazza.

I had a delightful dinner in my first night on Salerno and repeat it on my last one! The starter dish is highly recommended! All ingredients are very fresh. The staff is very kind and helpful. They also have two taps, where white and red wine is offered as courtesy!!! Definitely it’s a must go in Salerno!!

This little restaurant was such a lovely surprise! From the first moment we step in, we felt that it was going to be the perfect experience after a rainy morning in Salerno. And so it was! The staff was very kind and the whole atmosphere was like in Italian home. A lovely waitress explained their menu (which is written on a wooden board). While waiting on the food, we got a delicious welcome snack: fried dough with tomato sauce, anchovy and pecorino cheese. There is just one cold starter on the menu called Spuzzulià and you absolutely have to try it. The Chefs prepare 5 different starter snacks so you can try a bit of everything. I loved the fish and chips variation with baccala, mmm delicious! We continued with 2 different pasta dishes, both yummy too. At the end we tried a typical dessert, Bignè con crema al limone made with crema de chantilly and lemon zest. It was just perfect! A lovely detail is their wine system: you can serve it yourself. There are two taps: one for red and one for white wine and the best thing is that it’s on the house. So you don’t pay for the wine at all! How generous of them. On top of everything the Chef brought us two shots of home made limoncello, which was the best we tried on the whole holiday! They were on the house too. All in all, it was a perfect lunch for very reasonable price in a lovely restaurant with authentic Italian food. Definitely worth visiting!

So good it made my husband abandon the tv during the footballgame Sweden - Italy!!! Really cosy restaurant, really nice and helpful owner and staff. Fantastic food, the antipasto was outstanding.
And the "dolce" !!! The best we had during our 4 weeks in Italy. Will definitely come back next time in Salerno.
