The staff are all amazing! extremely helpful and kind - our host explained each dish in detail as to the way it is cooked and presented. you could genuinely see her love for the job.
The food is very fresh and perfectly cooked! Simple yet sophisticated enough!
prices are extremely fair
again i have to mention that the service is excellent

overall this place is the main reason i'd visit Salerno again soon!

After a week and a half of Italian dining, L'Unico was the first place to step up to the plate and blow our minds! Being greeted by a glass of Prosecco followed by a guided explanation of the 4-foot menu helped us settle right in. We started with the salt and pepper shrimp and the clams. Those two dishes were the definition of succulent! From there we had the anchovy linguine and the ragu. We finished that up with the baba and called it a night after a half liter of house red. Such a treat!

We decided on this restaurant as a recommendation from our arbnb host and we are glad we went ! The service was great ! The owner himself explained the menu and offered us the fresh caught of the day - John Dori!! Amazing !!! He explained to us they go out twice a day to the sea for the freshest fish. We ate fish that had been caught two hours before our meal, and it was delicious.

The appetizers and pasta dishes are also fresh and incredibly flavorful. We had the octopus, the fish balls, linguini and clams, and fettuccini with catfish.

The owner gave us a very fair price on his catch of the day, and even gave us free liquor at the end of the meal. The personal touch to the service was greatly appreciated.

I recommend making a reservation if you know of your visit in advance.

Best seafood we've tasted in town. The service was excellent as well, the waiter really took his time and explained every single dish for us. We asked him for a recommendation and had the best seafood ever, spaghetti with little lobsters. The dessert was just as great, we were fully satisfied in every way and often thought of coming back again.

This is a lovely cozy restaurant with great food and great service. We three ladies (mum and two sisters) decided to try appetizers and shared an octopus carpacio which was beautifully presented and delicious, fresh shrimp (shell on) so sweet and tasty, something like a peperonata soooo tasty, and a broccoli/potato dish that was amazing. We were a little less enthused about the baked mackerel which was tender and beautifully presented but not seasoned. Mum, who is much less adventuresome in her tastes, was not a fan of the appetizers and so then ordered soup (chickory and shrimp) which she didn't care for either (sigh). The owner was so kind....he whisked that away (no charge) and offered a piece of chocolate cake 'on the house'. We enjoyed a terrific house red wine. Service was fantastic from start to finish.
