Very expensive. Kids club in pool area is great for parents, tons of activities for children
Rooms are spacious and clean, room temperature can't be controlled by guests
Service pool side could be a bit better. Not many servers

Yes, this place looks exactly as pictured online. Exactly!

We arrived from days of walking and touring around Rome and were ready to relax and kick back a little bit. My son's jaw nearly hit the floor when he saw the view from the main lobby/bar area. It was so beautiful with views overlooking the Bay of Naples and Mt. Vesuvius.

The pool is an absolute delight - 5 levels of adjoining pools that were fun for adults and kids. No its not heated but it was a perfect temperature and there is full service around the pool with lovely waiters that deliver wonderfully cold beer!

Our rooms were 103 and 104 - both with views of Mt Vesuvius and a beautiful balcony to sit and enjoy in the evenings. They also overlooked lemon trees (which 2 of my boys may or may not have picked lemons from!)

Will most definitely return here.

Hotel is situated at the top of a hill. It may well be a ten minute walk unto town, but considerably longer going back uphill in the heat of the day. The room we had was noisy with noises from the room above and from the corridor. The rooms have slam cell type doors which do not help. The view from the balcony left much to be desired but the breakfast and staff were great.

We checked in for a 4 night stay. The staff were very friendly and all spoke english. The pools were clean and warm but closed too early for summer. 7pm is early 10pm would be more sppropriate given the hot weather. Rooms were tidy and well maintained. Breakfast choices were extremly extesive and delicious. It was a bit of a walk into town up and down a steep hill. Our room wzs near the breakfast room so come 6.30am parents let their kids run down corridors with disrespect to people in surrounding rooms. My daughter had a birthday yesterday and without notice a lovely cake was provided to the room a very welcomed gesture.

We recently spent three nights at this hotel and if we could have found accommodation elsewhere after visiting our room we would have moved. Sorrento is a beautiful place but our hotel room was in the basement of the hotel looking out on a rock cliff...absolutely dreadful. The room lacked storage..three small draws and an open hanging area with patio doors looking straight out onto a rock face with the road looking down...no privacy voiles so the curtains had to be constantly closed and the lighting on!! The restaurant menu as well as bar menu was very limited and extremely disappointing. Breakfast was mediocre, the eggs were always hard and overcooked and the bacon too crispy to eat with a fork. After trying to toast the bread three times in a row and it still remaining luke warm we gave up. Not what we were expecting from this chain of hotel. The views from the pool are lovely but unfortunately do not compensate for the major problems elsewhere.

Room Tip: Insist that your room has been recently refurbished and is on a high floor with a view of Sorrento before completing your reservation.
