This is a difficult city to manage on foot but this hotel being so central will help you. A very nice large room and extremely helpful staff. There is no restaurant but within a few minutes walk are many.
Breakfast was good rather than great. You may find a cheaper hotel but miss out on a real find.

This hotel is conveniently located in the centre of Naples, just a 5 minute walk away from the shopping streets. Compared to the surrounding buildings, this hotel seemed to be recently renovated and modern. The friendly reception staff gave us a city map and good restaurant recommendations near the hotel. Breakfast was very good with a wide selection to choose from. The only downside that I can think of was that we had to go down to the lobby to get a wifi signal. Other than that, perfect hotel!

What a fantastic hotel! My husband and I stayed here for two nights at the end of our Italian getaway.

We had been to Naples before, but had stayed in one of the larger hotels near Castle Uova. We were not impressed by the service there, so this time we used Trip Advisor to look for a boutique hotel near the old town. After reading the reviews for Palazzo Decumani I didn't hesitate to book. The hotel lived up to all of my expectations.

We arrived at 9am and the hotel kindly stored our luggage until we could check in at 2pm. When we did check in we were given a free drinks voucher for the bar and the extremely helpful lady on the reception desk gave us some food options for the evening. We ended up eating at one of her recommendations - named Tandem - and it was superb.

We were given a large selection for our free drink (essentially anything you want) and we opted for some prosecco. The drinks arrived with the most amazing selection of nibbles. Savoury Sfogliatelle (a delicacy in Naples), mushroom and salami bruschetta, capers, olives and nuts. Amazing!

The hotel rooms were great. We booked a classic room, which was a good size. There wasn't a view outside of the window, but that didn't bother us. The rooms were very modern and clean. One of the best things was the huge shower. We couldn't hear any noises from other rooms or on the streets of Naples and we stayed there on a Saturday and Sunday evening.

Breakfast was great. Better than some of the other hotels I have stayed at in Italy. There was a wide selection of cold meats and cheeses. There was also this amazing omelette in filo pastry.

I would definitely recommend this hotel. It is in a great location - right in the old town, the staff are superb and the hotel itself is gorgeously decorated. I will definitely be staying here again when I return next year.

We stayed at the hotel for 6 nights in September 2015. The location is perfect. The rooms are large and very quiet. The staff very friendly. Probably one of the best hotels in the historic center of Naples.

The hotel is situated perfectly in the centre of Naples amongst the shopping streets and not to far from the sea front.
The hotel itself is very nicely laid out with a beautiful entrance staircase and the room we stayed in - a junior suite - was spacious and comfortable to be in.
The hotel staff were all very friendly and welcoming and only to willing to help and advise on any questions we had.
The English spoken varied in proficiency though from staff member to staff member though decent overall.
A recommended hotel to stay at.
