Beautiful rooms, gracious staff, convenient location within blocks of Vatican. Around the block from the Ottoviano metro stop. Many restaurants nearby and a safe neighborhood to stroll along. Delicious complementary breakfast served in the breakfast room or in your own room. Room accommodations were modern, stylish and quiet, loved the mood lighting in the shower. A special thank you to Carolina and the rest of the front desk staff.

Location of this hotel is ideal for a trip to Rome as it is so central. The hotel itself is gorgeous and finished to an extremely high standard - it feels very luxurious. Air conditioning is fantastic also. There was also the option to have breakfast brought to your room in the morning which no extra charge which was wonderful as we could sit and enjoy it at our own pace in the room. Breakfast itself was really yummy and had many different options. Really enjoyed our stay here, just wish it could have been longer!

The room was excellent and the staff could not have been more helpful. They offered helpful and practical advice to us and were always on hand if we had a request or concern. They also helped us book tickets and taxis during our stay. The location is brilliant, about a five minute walk from the metro (though most places are walkable), a ten minute walk from the Vatican museums and among a lot of nice cafes and restaurants. There were also some nice shops just a couple of streets away. Breakfast was good, if a little repetitive and some items were slow to be replenished though this was not a huge problem as there is a good choice of others things to eat.

The only major downside is the lack of any communal area in the hotel but that is often the case in smaller boutique hotels and that the soundproofing between rooms could be a little better.

Overall, I would absolutely stay here again.

This hotel is glamorous and excellent value for money for the location! Literally a minute away from Vatican City and a number or restaurants. Upon arrival we was greeted with a map and plenty of information regarding local restaurants and the best routes via metro etc to get to the tourist attractions such as the Colosseum.
If we were visiting Rome again we would stay here again.

I want to share with you my awful experience in hotel vespasiano last month.
I checked in on May 18,2017 and everything went smoothly; the receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are fine but the breakfast is very poor. I paid approx. 280$ per night which is not worth it at all.
On may 19, Rome faced a very bad weather, it rained a lot which lead to a huge leak in my room. The bathroom was covered with water coming from the ceiling.
A man came with dry towels trying to fix the problem by removing the water. I asked for another room but they were overbooked. Then, came another lady with the same problem of mine. I stayed up till 4Am trying to negotiate to get a room from another hotel.

Anyway, I solved it by myself (booked in another hotel through Booking.com) after they didn't know what to do or how to fix this huge mess. This was very unprofessional and disappointing.

I don't recommend anyone to book in Vespasiano until they have a solution to every case they may face.
