Just simply DO NOT GO. This place should be closed as what they do is criminal. They have different menus with different prices. The food is almost inedible too, and when you’re done, you’ll be presented with the biggest bill ever. We bought two rubbishy sandwiches (probably worth €4) and three scoops of gelato (say €5)..... and ready.... yes, a €46 bill was arrogantly brought to us!!!!!! We challenged the bill, but got nowhere, as they had different menus in hand ready for the people like us.

I just can’t find a word to describe this place..... please please please do not go......

If you don't want to pay higher prices, then don't go. If you are waiting to get into the Vatican for a tour or otherwise, it is a very good location for a pastry and coffee. We had both and the pastry was excellent and coffee ok. It was super convenient to our meeting place, but long lines as everyone else had the same idea to get breakfast before their tour as well. Of course it is expensive...they have a corner on the market. If you don't want to spend the money then do a little planning and get your breakfast somewhere else.

Why didn’t I read the reviews before going? No menus given, order taken (2 lattes, 5 croissants, 5 juices). €92 lighter, we left. Utter disgrace. No ‘official receipt’ given, (so clearly minimal tax is paid). Receipts just say ‘non fiscale’ at the bottom so a proper tax dodge for unsuspecting idiotic tourists (of which I am one!). Ruined the day.

This place is a rip off.
Nearly 15 Euro for two black coffees.
They scope out the tourists and rip them off.
I would avoid going there.
