Our room was just what we hoped it would be from reading other reviews.I usually struggle to sleep but the bed was so comfy and the area so quiet there was no problems in that department! The bathroom was small, but looked new-the shower was excellent. The fridge was handy for drinks,we learnt to take drinks out with us for the day after getting charged £10 for a can of coke by the colleseum! You don't get breakfast here but we actually preferred sitting and watching the world go by with a cappucino and croissant at the cafe around the corner each morning. La Piccola Maison really is in an excellent location for visiting all the sights of Rome. The Trevi fountain is virtually on your doorstep with the Spsnish Steps only a little bit further away.We made use of the metro which is only around the corner from the accommodation 4 euros per person for a day pass, well worth it for those longer journeys or when your feet are getting tired. We thought the accommodation was excellent value for money, and we got the room eve cheaper for paying cash.We would certainly recommend La Piccola Maison to anyone travelling to Rome,we actually think it deserves to be much higher up the rankings on Trip Advisor.

Location is very close to everywhere . The subway ( metro ) and bus station is out side of the hotel.when we are in Rome again, we will stay in La Piccola Maison, we will recommend here to our all friends . At last , great location , great value, great service , great hospitality
We stayed in La Piccola Maison for two nights in March. This place is perfect. The metro is just outside the hotel, lots of eateries nearby (Osteria Barberini is just 50 meters away), great value, and the owner Giorgio is very kind and friendly. My wife and I arrived very early in the morning and he let us in without any problem. He also gave us a brief orientation about Rome.
The room is spotless with hotel ammenities. We went out for sightseeing the whole day and came back to find that the room is cleaned. I cannot find any fault with La Piccola Maison. What a perfect place to stay in Rome.
