We stayed here six days. Read about it on TripAdvisor and after three previous trips to Rome in which we hurriedly hit the big spots, we decided to try a different neighborhood. We had previously always stayed adjacent to the Vatican Wall.
The B&B is located just blocks from Castel St Angelo, Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, Vatican City and St Peter's Basilica. It offers all modern bathrooms, great breakfast, great WIFI, and easy access to transportation, bus and Metro.
Cristiano is the manager/owner/travel advisor and quickly became a new friend in Rome. He went out of his way to see we were comfortable, and completely satisfied with his accommodations. Domus Cavour is just one of three B&B he operates in the same general area.
Restaurants are close by with dinner times that accommodate the American meal times.
This was an excellent place to stay. We were traveling with another couple and both of us were impress with the staff and facilities and the price. "Molto Bene," Cristiano.

Room Tip: Just ask and they will accommodate you needs if possible. We had a light sleeper and Cristiano put...

Dear Senior 653,
first of all thank you for the kind review and the nice words that you shared to the others travellers.
Second i'm happy to have new friends in Virginia.
It has been very nice for me too, chat with you, your wife and your relatives, and funny too, due of your fantastic sense of humor.
At least i'm very satisfy by your liking of our hospitality and staff and facilities.
It's the best reply to our job.

What a fantastic find! Very reasonable rate and very accessible by bus, metropolitano (subway) and especially by the airport shuttle from Fiumicino/Da Vinci airport. First stop (Piazza Cavour/Vaticano) then head left 3 blocks then turn left.
Cristiano and Alfredo were very good hosts and attentive to all your requests. Breakfast is always filling and unrushed. You feel like you're staying with close relatives. A lot of good eating places close by. ATMs everywhere. Lots of good shopping if you're into that. Would definitely stay here again. Can't wait for that next visit.

Cristiano was a wonderful host. He and his lovely wife warmly greeted our family upon our arrival. The rooms were immaculate and provided ample space for luggage and other items. The entire B & B is very clean and nicely decorated. Cristiano arranged for a driver to pick us up from the airport and to our next destination which went very smoothly. Cristiano was very helpful with directions and ideas for things to do in Rome. The breakfast was served in a bright and airy dining room with many choices. He also went as far as assisting one of my children who had particular dietary needs. I would definitely recommend Domus Cavour to my friends and family! It is suitable for both couples and families travelling to Rome.

My husband and I were in Rome on business for the second time in four years and chose again to stay at Domus Cavour. Like in 2012, everything was top notch. The rooms, the amenities (very good a/c, nice bathroom, great bed, plenty of hot water) exceeded expectations. Domus Cavour is located on a great street with plenty of very good and affordable restaurants nearby that welcome you as if you are Roman, not a tourist. As noted by other reviewers, the Prati district is a perfect location to travel to all of the Roman sites - bus, train, subway or pedestrian ways are all convenient. The owner, Cristiano, is unfailingly helpful and considerate. Under his steady hand, Domus Cavour remains a place we would recommend without hesitation and would stay again.

Room Tip: Rooms are very quiet, wifi always worked and was of good quality. Even had a/c in the common room.

Dear Michel To, thank you very much for the kind review.
I have been very happy to host both of you one more time.
It's very important for me that the guests after several years from the first visit, can test our B&B and testify
our job, the improvement and their satisfaction about what they expect.
Thank you for having been a such good "testimonial".

My husband and i stayed at Domus Cavour recently and absolutely loved it! Christiano - our host - was so helpful, giving us ideas of how to see the city, printing tickets off that we needed and assisting us in travel bookings. the room was just perfect for two weary travellers! Would stay again if in Rome.

Dear NZFsherchick, its has been fantastic to host you and your husband for us and me too. One of the think that i love more in this job is the feeling, the relationship and the interaction with the "guests". Some of my guests has become friends of mine and i keep relationship with them by "social". When i see people coming here and spend it's time here as they stay in theirs own home, i understand that i made goal.
Thank you and have good time
