Our family of 4 visited Rome for the first time on July 23, and our hotel's receptionist recommended this restaurant to us. The restaurant locates right on Republic Piazza. Gregory greeted us immediately and we felt right at home. We chose to sit outside with a nice view of Fountain of the Naiads. Greg was very friendly and helpful, and his recommendations were simply wonderful. We loved this restaurant so much that we ate there 3 evenings in a row, until we left for Naples. Greg and Hossain treated us like old friends. The steak, beef brisket, pork, and roasted chicken were best for the main courses. Lasagna, pasta dishes and the pizza were very tasty and filling. The house-made pitta bread with the olive oil, oh my goodness, was so good that I am mouth watering right now. Chicken Caesar salad was a big portion and yummy. The desert simply would not go wrong with any choice. We tried Lemon Fruit (or tart, I can't remember exactly) Ice-cream, Lava Chocolate Ice-Cream, Tiramisu, and seasonal fruit such as Pineapple and melon. Greg made us the special juice cocktails (non-alcoholic) and limoncello drinks, which was first time for my wife and I. We were so lucky to find this wonderful restaurant to enjoy our short stay in Rome. The average evening dinner cost was about 100 Euros, which was reasonable compared to other Roman touristy spots. 2 teenager kids and us were always stuffed! Our family highly recommends this restaurant gem to anyone visiting Rome, especially those staying within the walking distance of Piazza della Repubblica. Some of dishes and drinks' pictures were taken and uploaded here, but others were devoured before we realized no picture was taken.
