I recently stayed here for 3 nights for a work trip. The hotel is a smaller boutique hotel right in the heart of Rome. It is within walking distance of many major attractions: Pantheon, Palatine Hill, Coliseum ( all about 20”), Trevi fountain closer. Numerous great restaurants and world class shopping nearby.
The hotel itself is older. My room was comfortable, but on the small side. The bed was VERY firm, which was ok for me, but some of my work colleagues staying there found the beds difficult to sleep on. The room hvac can only be turned on upon request at the front desk even though there is a thermostat in the room. And the hotel charges a city tax of 6 euros/ night which must be paid in cash upon checkout, which I did not know until I checked in. Breakfast is ok with some hot offerings, few pastries, fruit, yogurt, etc, but nothing special. Give yourself extra time to checkout as the staff cannot handle a large volume of guests at one time. I found myself taking the stairs to my 2nd floor room as the one small elevator was slow and wait times could be very long during busy times.
Overall, it was ok. Clean. Safe. Convenient.
