Travel groups usually prefer there and there are always carabiniery cars parking. It may be a guest house for italian carabiniery.
If you dont travel with the buses of travel groups, ıt would be hard to walk to the metro station. That road became a nightmare for me under the burning sun. But i know that it wont bother anybody in a moderate weather. The breakfast was not very satisfying, full of pastry. And unfortunately just one type of italian cheese (the cheapest one). You can find the markets and other stores near the metro station. There is a mercato (open bazaar) close to the hotel but we have never seen the stores open in the mercato.

Well, the staff is helpful & friendly, you get daily cleanup with towels changing and amenities replenished and overall cleanliness is OK, you have a big pool to refresh after a hot day in Rome (but take care as it's open only until 7 p.m.), air conditioning in room was working, but... the hotel itself could use "some love". Apparently you can get a second key card so you would not be able to leave the AC running through the day, scrambled eggs seems to be made from "dust eggs", same varieties for breakfast day after day. You could use buses 246 for a 4 stops ride to go to Cornelia Metro station, but in Sundays it seems they are quite rare so check before plan your trip to downtown.

Not 4 stars, to be honest. Don't expect much. It's clean, rooms are also clean, but it's outdated. WiFi is breaking constantly. Breakfast is good, a lot of stuff. Also a lot for desert, pastries, cakes, compote... Scrambled eggs and wieners dissappear in seconds, so you have to wait for 10 minutes for them to refill if you didn't cach a moment when it was there. Walls are pretty thin, we could hear girls next door talking and laughing (they were not loud, walls are just too thin). But that didn't bother us. Hotel is 20 minutes walk from metro (Cornelia station), but if you go left from the street, in couple of meters is a bus station, and you can ride bus directly to the metro.

the rooms could do with a bit of modernisation, but the friendly and helpful staff are what run this place, they are amazing people they go out of their way to help you,i hope hotel management realise what a special staff they have,it was in a quiet location, a taxi to rome was about 18 euros each way so not too bad between friends not much to do in the evening other than sit in a local café,theres not a lot of well if any nightclubs or things like that, other than the modernisation of some of the rooms it was a good place to stay continental breakfast was good

Room Tip: a bit far out from rome but a taxi is about 18 euros each way

Rooms smelly, damp, smell of drain, wifi that hardly works, one plug point in room, decor is old and dated, many non functioning amenities. Restaurant has limited menu and expensive with poor quality food. The staff are friendly enough which earns them a star, otherwise it's possibly the worst hotel I have stayed in.
