We spent 3 nights at NTB Roma at the end of January. Needless to say the location is superb. Along the main shopping streets, 5 mins walk from the Spanish steps and castle St Angelo. 10mins walk to Pantheon, 15mins walk to the Colosseum and 20 or so mins to the Vatican. The amount of cafes and restaurants in the area make eating out easy.
The B&B itself is wonderful. Vanda made our stay very pleasant and made breakfast for us each morning. She was very helpful in guiding as to when and where to visit each tourist attraction. Couldn't be happier.
As a tip: when visiting places such as the colosseum or Vatican, book your tickets online the day before and skip the queues.

Location, location, location. This location is amazing, literally a stones throw away from Via del Corso. Stick your head out of the window and you can almost reach the shops. I can't say enough how great this location is. Truly.

The room was nice and modern and very clean. Everyday the bed would get done and a bit of a tidying up. The bathroom was good too, the shower was hot with good pressure although a small cubicle. Really can't say anything bad about the interior of the room.

The windows were soundproofed so you don't get street noise however if any of the other people staying in the b&b are loud, you could hear them through the door. One time, guests came in at 5 in the morning which was a bit annoying hearing the door bell and some commotion in the halls ways.

The breakfast wasn't great. I've been to other b&b's with much better breakfasts. A fresh croissant was served which was really nice. There was also bread but it was not fresh and what I call sandwich-bread, only good for toasting. It would have been nice to have a fresh roll of some sort. No ham. Not much fruit. Cake seemed a bit old - I didn't try it and for the four days it didn't change.

Silvia and Vanda are really nice. Silvia welcomed us upon arrival and showed us around and was very helpful. We had Vanda with us through the morning for breakfast, also very nice.

The biggest drawback for me was the breakfast, which is not such a big deal considering you are getting a good, comfortable, spacious room, in an excellent location, at a good price

I would definitely return!

A fair-sized room pretty much as appeared on the site though rather bare. Nice parquet - even in the bathroom, such a waste! -- comfortable bed, nice clean linens. AC not working in hot, muggy late summer and no way to get it dealt with on returning at night. No staff on site. Bathroom very basic but miniscule shower in need of some care. Few towels and even fewer toiletries. No light on landing. Breakfast very ordinary - suoermarket, name -brand bread, croissants etc. Why we mention booking.com because we got a huge discount...otherwise way over-priced. Really more like a hostel or two-star hotel.

I would surely recommend NTB Roma to everybody. It's situated in the real centre of Roma (very close to the main shopping streets and the Spanish Steps), everything is clean, the staff is very kind and friendly. Everything you need, they are willing to help you with. Also the breakfast is nice and sufficient (coffee, tea, milk, juice, yogurt, müsli, croissants, marmalade, pastry etc.). I felt there like I'm at home.

We felt like we were at home staying with NTB Roma....lovely appointed rooms, superb service and hospitality, clean, and surrounded by the best Rome has to offer. I would not think of staying anywhere else, now that I have discovered this place. You are on the doorstep to the best Designers, cafes, restaurants. A short walk to the Pantheon, Piazza Venezia the Rome's beautiful historic sites. The hotel building itself is unique. It has the perfect balance - lively atmosphere during the day, quiet and restful at night. Perfetto!

Room tip: All rooms the same.
