This venue isn't much frequented by tourists, as is evidenced by the fact that all the reviews prior to this one are in Italian. The Viale Carso area is in an ordinary Roman neighbourhood which although charming, is not a maget for overseas visitors. We were staying in an apartment just around the corner, and had walked past the Enoteca several times before finally stopping for lunch. Very popular with locals, there is no inside seating but plenty outside. There is no menu as such; the diner simply enters and indicates what he or she wants by pointing at the dishes ranged behind the glass counter. My vegetarian companion, not seeing displayed anything aroused her interest, negotiated a large slab of mozzarella and a pile of spinach which she pronounced very good, while I enjoyed a chicken escalope with an excellent cold potato and bean salad. Pizza and pasta did not seem to be available, and I don't think the establishment is open for dinner. Worth visiting if you are in the area.
