This hotel left something to be desired. Though the front desk staff was very accommodating when we got there hours before check-in by offering to upgrade our room to an open one for an extra 15€/night - which we took them up on. This included a coffee maker, a king bed, and a balcony.
Once we got to our room, it was...underwhelming. The linoleum floor was cheap and nearly peeling. You could feel it moving under your feet when you walked. The paint job on the doors was lackluster and sloppy. We had a balcony in the room which we didn’t even use.
The worst part of the room was the lack of security. There were no additional locks on the door other than the standard card key lock. When you had your key in the light switch (which seemed standard in Europe) there was a red light that would turn on outside the room. This would tell you who was and was not in their room throughout the day, which felt unsafe. We did not have any issues.
We wish that this hotel was closer to the Metro line too. It was a good 10 minute walk. Not a terrible walk, just a walk.
