Positive aspects:

That is a very well located place. It´s near the Metro Station and the Roma Termini Rail Station. It´s possible to arrive on foot. The place is near Trevi Fountain and Panteão, and it´s possible to go to Colosseu, Roman Forum and including Vaticane on foot, if you like to walk. The room is big, has a writing desk and a wardrobe to put your clothes. The internet is fast and without password. The breakfast is good and it has salty and sweet food, including fruits. Mr. Mario (manager) and Mr. Pedro (staff) are very polite and helpful. Mario is always online and helped me when I had some doubts. Pedro is very carefull at the breakfast, friendly and nice. Thanks for both.

Negative aspects:
I consider the following comments as improvement possibilities for the hotel:

a. The double bed is noisy.

b. The room should have the possibity to set the internal temperature. It was winter when I was at the city and the room was hot when the external temperature was 12-15 C.

c. Ms. Tatiana (staff) was not so polite and always in a bad mood and sour. I do not know if she was in a bad week. When we asked for a coffee, it seemed that she didn´t like to do it. Often she didn´t greet us. She was the opposite of Mr. Pedro.

d. The room # 1 has an external bathroom, but private (according with the description at the booking moment). Maybe this information could be more clear because the external bathroom is right in front of the breakfast area. I booked this room, but I confess I did not pay attention that it had external bathroom. I think the description of the external private bathroom could be more detailed, indicating that it is in the breakfast hall.

The bathroom lock is hard to open (the key can´t enter the lock) and we were worried about making some noise trying to access it at night. I recomend that the hotel change the lock or the key.

CONCLUSION: I recomend the hotel and I would be there again in the next trip do Rome. Compare the prices for the internal and external bathroom to choose what fits better for you.

Room Tip: Choose the room with internal bathroom

The location couldn't be better with major sights within walking distance: Trevi fountain, Piazza Navona, Spanish steps. Super clean rooms and bathrooms with a wonderful breakfast served in the small dining area. I stayed with a friend over 3 nights and had a wonderful stay. They arranged an airport transfer for us (at additonal cost) which was super handy given odd hours of flights. The location couldn't be better and we found it great value for money. Would definitely stay there again!

Very difficult to find with no obvious signage! Nice enough staff and breakfast was served by a lovely girl, the usual breakfast was served and the area was small but did have an outside terrace if you wished to use it! We had the room with twin beds and the bathroom outside, bedroom had twin beds, wardrobe, tv with sky, desk with chair, kettle etc provided which was a nice touch. The room was plenty big enough and had steps going up to the window, which opened up onto the main road but was not too noisy. The bathroom outside of our room could have been so much better though, it was basic and very dirty with fungus...some anti fungus spray and a good scrub would bring it to an acceptable standard and although the bathroom is small but is functional...but the CLEANING IS A MUST!!!!! Hotel is a short walk away from the metro line which is Barberini.

The Trevi Fountain Guesthouse is an excellent value. Perfect location right in the heart of Rome, within walking distance of most of the historical sites. It took us about 15 minutes to walk to the Pantheon and 20 minutes to the Colosseum. The Trevi Fountain Guesthouse is simple, so don't expect a regular hotel lobby and many bells and whistles. Our room was simple, but we were looking for a convenient location and a great price, not luxury. The staff is amazing. One of the managers, Marco, texted me a few days before check in to touch base with me since our flight didn't get in until 11pm. The airline ended up losing one of our bags, so we didn't get to the guesthouse until midnight, but Marco happily stayed up for us and greeted us with a smile. The next day he even called the airline for us to help us get our bag back. I would definitely stay here again.
