This was our first trip to Rome and we loved every minute of it. The hotel was fantastic. You are close to all the sites and the bustle of the city but as soon as you walk into the hotel you find peace and immediately relax. The room had everything we needed. Comfy bed, well stocked (complimentary) mini-bar, large bathroom which was extremely well stocked with toiletries and other items you may need. Breakfast was great with great quality cold meats and cheeses, homemade jams and marmalade, fresh bread and extremely tasty cakes and pastries. We even had breakfast in the garden which was peaceful and a real treat. You would not really need lunch but this is Italy!! The lounge areas and and library were extremely comfortable and the beautiful antiques made them a spectacular place to enjoy a coffee or drink. It would have been great to just sit and read for an afternoon but Rome had just too much to offer. We stayed three days and did not get close to seeing all the sites and will definitely return and stay here again. Rome is the best city break we have ever done and the Villa Spalletti the best hotel we have stayed in.
Thanks you to all the staff who were so helpful and attentive as well as always having a cheerful smile for us.
