Stayed for 3 nights in a hot period in Rome, was greeted at arrival and shown the room, clean modern and nice with fresh fruit and drinks provided. The rooms are cleaned daily and given clean towels and bedding, we even got topped up on shower gels etc. The staff were very kind and helpful. The hotel is very well located it was about a 5 minute walk to Vatican and plenty of places to eat and drink nearby. Also 100 metres from the metro which was handy.

We booked the Best Vatican B&B for 4 nights in July and was extremely happy with our stay. Couldn't fault a single thing.

Prior to arrival, a staff member made contact via WhatsApp to confirm our arrival time to ensure somebody would be there to welcome us. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a friendly man who helped us to our room with our luggage and explained everything we needed to know from how to work the air con and TV, to which keys opened which doors etc. Note that this B&B is situated on the third floor within a residential building. There is a small lift that looks a bit scary but it is safe. During our stay we didn't see many people other than the first gent and lady cleaning the room, but everybody we came into contact with was friendly, welcoming and professional.

We were using public transport from Rome Fiumicino Airport to the B&B which took around 1hr 15mins. Train tickets were booked from Rome Fiumicino - Rome Termini for €18pp on the day. We then purchased a 7-day ticket for the underground for €24pp (from memory). Closest metro station from the B&B is around a two minute walk away.

The B&B offers free WiFi. The rooms were cleaned and tidied daily to an excellent standard incl. fresh towels. Breakfast vouchers are left each day by the cleaner for the Cafe across the road. Breakfast is between 7am and 11am. There is a small bag with some shampoo, body wash and soap in the bathroom which is restocked daily if you use it. The minibar was reasonably priced too so don't bother using the overpriced shop a few doors down if you don't have to.

The Vatican City is within walking distance from the B&B and the Colosseum & Trevi Fountain are both easily accessible using the Metro system.

Thanks again for a pleasant stay!

Just returned from a wonderful three day stay in the Eternal City which was made even more pleasant by our stay at the B&B Best Vatican which was absolutely superb in every way. This was a special treat to celebrate a significant birthday and ten years since my wife and I were last there, but with two small children and now we were on our own. Having searched online for a B&B near the Vatican we were a bit apprehensive about what we might find. However, the transfer from the airport was very good and we arrived at the B&B around an hour after landing.

We were met at the entrance and taken to our room which was excellent, clean and perfect for our needs. The guy who met us was extremely courteous and explained everything in great detail. there was a minibar, wifi and excellent facilities all round, including access to a computer and print which proved useful for quick searches as well as printing our boarding passes. There was also a complimentary bowl of fruit on each day which was very welcome. We were given breakfast vouchers for a little cafe across the road, this proved to be superb and a lovely touch. I also loved the quaint little lift which just about held the two of us and our liggage but was a delight.

The position of the B&B was excellent, around 5 mins or less from the Vatican, indeed we walked to quite a number of places, though the Metro was around the corner with links to all the major attractions and very cheap.

Rome was very warm and the air con in the room was most welcome, though the position of the room, on the third floor based around a quad, meant it remained quite cool anyway and also very quiet, we slept well.

Lastly, as we had a late flight we were able to leave our bags at the B&B and were given a different key to let us into the lobby, again, very thoughtful and highly appreciated as it meant not having to lug our bags around sightseeing on the last day.

To summarise I cannot recommend the B&B Best Vatican enough, for both the facilities and the position, ideal for sightseeing and extremely comfortable. We shall certainly book again.

Really lovely central place to stay when visiting Rome on a weekend trip. Room was small but perfect for me and my BF for just two nights. So so clean, staff was lovely lady and loads of extras such as snacks in fridge, free fruit, free use of espresso machine, dvd/tv etc. Location was really the plus here, right beside Vatican city and walking distance to most other tourist attractions. No breakfast area but free little vouchers for pastry and coffee in adjacent cafe.

Room Tip: Double room
