Found this hole in the wall, downstairs, butchery/fine dining, restaurant on my vacation to Rome and it was the best accident I've stumbled upon so far. I come from Naples, Florida where the dining is high class and $$$$, but this place was truly something else. I LOVED it. I enjoyed the perfectly cooked entrecôte steak with white truffles and grilled zucchini and eggplant and a craft beer ( only €22) for dinner with my companions who ordered the tagliatelle pasta with white truffles and the aromatic herb entrecôte. A beautiful, crisp, seared, prize of meat was brought to me, and I watched as the butcher cut it fresh for my order. For the three of us it was only €63 (I spent that the night before at some sub par tourist trap near the Vatican). This was the best deal I have yet to come by for a meal of this high distinction. I wouldn't have gone through all this trouble of making an account of if it wasn't worth sharing with the rest of the world. If you can find this place than your journey will be repaid x10.
