Based on other trip advisor recommendations, we stopped in today for lunch. The smoked salmon Panini was outstanding!
This is a very small eat in or take out place, different from anywhere else we have been during our travels in Italy. Very clean, great fresh ingredients, and the owners were very friendly and were able to communicate very clearly in English.
When you get tired of pizza and Caprese salad, you will find this place a refreshing change.

Surprisingly they served the best tasting lunch. It is not expensive and the food were having the fresh ingredients.

After crossing Ponte Umberto I from the other side of the river we decided to have lunch first before proceeding to the Piazza Navona.We did not regret having that stop for food.

Found this place after looking up somewhere for a quick lunch near our hotel. Amazing sandwiches - we might make more than one visit this week. Swordfish was excellent. Mozzarella and tomato was a classic done very well. A hidden gem.
