Ancona was our first city on the Adriatic Sea. We didn’t know what to expect , because Ancona is not really a touristic city.
May be it’s the hotel Seeport, may be it’s the proximity of the port, may be the friendliness of the personnel. I wish we had programmed more nights in this place in our tour of the Adriatic. I don’t think we will come back here , it’s probably our “arrivederci “ to Italy. Still many destinations in our bucket list.
If you are going to be in this area in Italy, SeePort hotel, we highly recommend it to you.

Seeport Hotel has beautiful location overlooking Adriatic Sea serene Blue water and Cruise terminal anchoring Huge passenger vessels especially of MSC lines.
Hotel is located on hillock that makes look much better.
From Train station , taxi wl charge Euro 10-15 depending on time.Though distance is less than 2 kms.
Check in was quick. Room size adequate. Bathroom is very good sized. We have room overlooking sea thro squarish window. Room has minibar.
Hotel has elevator and on the terrace they have lovely terrace roof Restaurant n Bar.
Restaurant staffs very nice n cooperative. They allowed us to seat n drink from our own bottle enjoying the beautiful sea n breeze.
My partner have to eat his special food which they warmed up for us and served in their plates. also during Lunch time the restaurant staff allowed us to eat our own food at their coffee shop. I immensely appreciate their support n cooperation.
Such good experience was marred by reception staff . As we had early morning biz meeting, in our haste we didnt inform the Reception that our Bags are packed n u can bring it down if we are late for check out.
We reached hotel at about 145pm and immediately we checked out and Reception demanded late check out fee of about Euro 30 which was reduced to Euro 15 after much arguments.
Overall nice experience

Of course, you'll have to spend a night in Ancona befaore catching your ferry to Patras on the following day. Nothing much to do in Ancona, not the nicest city in Italy... Avoid driving North, you won't find any nice beach!
The SeePort hotel is really a nice place to say. Very nice rooms, most of them overlooking the harbor. Friendly staff. Very nice rooftop terrace. And excellent restaurant, even if a bit expensive.

Recently stayed a couple of nights at Seeport; this hotel location is perfect and very convenient for cruise travelers.
It is located just a few steps away from Ancona Port, close to city center and not so far from train station ( 15 minutes walk)
From the hotel it is also easy to get to beach towns ( Numana/ Portonovo) by car or on the local bus transportation. The hotel staff made our experience nice with their hospitality and helpful advices .They have a terrace with such an amazing view, it is awesome to sit and watch sunsets, having a drink and looking at cruises boats just in front of you. Breakfast has a good variety of options from Italian patisserie to scrambled eggs. Room are nice with everything you need, but there are a couple of notes: the Jacuzzi shower’s size was really tiny and small and the plastic material which is made of looks not so hygienic/ clean,
Another weak point in the room was the bed: too tiny too but the main issue was that the mattress was not a memory foam so you're more likely to be disturbed by your partner moving around during the night
We give this place a 4 star anyway because the value for money is good and the harbour view is amazing.

We stayed in this hotel over my birthday. The staff was absoloutley charming and professional. Unfortunatley the aircondition was not working and it was very hot in the room. Therefor we recieved a discount on the room without arguing. Very recomondable!
