It is a small hotel. The room was very very small. You can walk to the city center. The staff are friendly and helpfull. It was a logical choice for us. There is small garden. You can have breakfast at there.

Stayed: November 2016, travelled with family

This modest establishment is a short walk (and there are many buses) from the city centre in a one-way street with a wide variety of cafes and restaurants. It does not advertise itself. Its chief feature is a pleasant walled garden. The rooms are simple, with phone, a/c, TV (no foreign channels). There is wifi but we found it very unreliable. Towels are basic (i.e. more like napkins and not fluffy.) No anti slip mat in the shower and in my room no tray for soap/shampoo. Staff are friendly. There is a coffee machine but no cafe, bar or breakfast though there are options nearby. If you have a ground floor room you will be able to benefit from the conversations of the people sitting at the two tables in the garden which may go on late if they have brought in food and drink from the local take-ways. There are some good restaurants in the Via Broccaindosso (cross the road and turn left). Not sure I would return but it has charm and the staff are pleasant.

Room Tip: Avoid ground floor: noisy.

My wife and I stayed here in March. The location is perfect for the centre whilst the rooms are very quiet. Ours was large and overlooked the garden at the back. The staff were excellent and very helpful. They recommended great restaurants nearby. Would thoroughly recommend.

It was difficult to find room in Bologna (high season), we tried Albergo San Vitale and unexpectedly found a lovely, quiet, big room overlooking a pleasant garden. The staff were very, very nice and helpful.

The Hotel seemed strange in layout, almost didnt feel like a hotel, but was a really comfortable space(though too small room) and the staff were really helpful and courteous. Loved the location, very close o the main area and also have loads of options for food just along the pathway, as no food is available at the hotel.

Room Tip: Ease to main area(all monuments), too small room(103),
