The best from Modena only, but in comparison with the real sushi still is not the best! But if you leave in Modena and wish sushi, yes this is the best from city :)

Very nice place, great decoration and atmosphere.
It's the best quality sushi I ever tried in my life, and it did set my standart so high that it's quite difficult for me to find another Suhi place in Europe or Brazil that I really like.
It's an eat as much as you can menu, fair price for lunch, quite expensive in the evening, but I know for sure that for sushi with that quality I would have to pay much more money in any other place.
That sad, the service is amazingly fast, even with the restaurant fully booked, what constantly happens, so be aware that arrive there and just walk in might be impossible. I strongly advise to pre-book your table at least one day in advance.
Lunch menu is a reduced version of the dinner menu, so if you want to try first, go for lunch, then another day come back in the evening and try the full menu.

This restaurant seems to be very popular with the locals. But also for us (tourists who just happened to crave some Asian food), I think Tao is a great find. Sure, it may not offer the most authentic or the best Japanese, but it is still very good considering the prices. Service can be abrupt and uneven (which is more typical of Chinese restaurants more than Japanese), particularly when the place is packed, but it is not a big problem.

We went here the first time for dinner, and because we liked it a lot, on the next day we returned again for lunch. For both we did not make any reservation, so I guess we were lucky to get a table. The dinner was a la carte - they have a good range of sushi (I particularly liked the "amaebi" or sweet prawn) and cooked dishes (rice and noodles). The sushi boat or "la barca" is a popular choice.

The lunch (on weekend) was all-you-can-eat with fixed price per person. There were not as many options as at the dinner, but it is still a very good value. You do have to finish what you order, though. If not, they will give you a fine ("la multa"). So it's better to order little by little, than everything in one go.
