The Centrale Hotel is located in a wonderful area of Trieste alongside one of the canals. From the hotel, you can easily walk to all the sites that Trieste has to offer. The staff was kind and helpful. The rooms were adequate, nothing fancy nothing bad just a simple straightforward basic place to stay. Very clean

We stayed here for a night in mid-May, the location right in the center of Trieste was ideal for a short stay. The room was tidy and cosy. There was a clean bathroom&toilet in the room (in booking.com you can choose if you want an en-suite room, the cheapest options have a shared toilet, we chose the en-suite). Service was very friendly, reception was 24h and buzzer promptly answered. Breakfast ok as well, quite a lot of options for an Italian breakfast. All in all, good value for money!

Room had a bathroom but no toilet. Apparently this is in the small print, but naively assumed that if there is an en suite, then there would be a loo, without having to read the small print. Toilet in hall, had no loo paper. I feel like it's not asking too much. Also, don't put a cup down on the table at breakfast without a coaster. And ask for a coffee rather than get it from the machine.

This property is in the center of town close to everything. If you're not a morning person this location is beside a church first bell is at 8 am. Property is old shower is very small and is a step up shower. For those with mobility issues I would choose another property. It is a budget hotel pretty much basic fixtures that are showing its age bed is hard but for a couple nights not so bad. Only weird thing is they don't want you to leave the property with the room key which I found to be strange. Also not all front desk staff speak English. However, all are friendly and welcoming, breakfast is OK.

where to start: 2 bathrooms per floor but one is close whole night, water in the shower with almost no pressure and barely above 20 degrees, beds 70cm wide instead of standard 90. no ac. so hot in summer. location Is nice, will avoid at all costs.
