My girlfriend and I were backpacking through Cinque Terre on our month abroad and we were always keen to do a cooking class, however, the options we could find online were either a) really experience or b) not great value for money. The pesto experience was recommended to us by a local and was well worth the 50€! For our 50€ we were generously given an apron to keep, each guest was given their own platter, we all got to make our own pesto and snack on all the ingredients as well as the pesto and then given local white wine to wash it down with. Our pesto was the best so we were even gifted a mortar and pestle so we could make the dish at home! The entire experience from the class to the location, to the staff was all so positive. We ended up staying for almost 5 hours enjoying the view with a few other couples in our class. That morning was a highlight of Italy and our entire trip! Definitely recommend

I had the most crispy, delicious bruschetta and sandwich here. It was the best I had during my 10 days in Italy. The views are outstanding of the famous buildings of Manarola, Cinque Terre. But perhaps the most amazing thing about this restaurant is the hospitality. Simone, the manager (or owner?), was so hospitable and gracious. He loves what he does and it shows. He is the kind of person who pays it forward and he made the experience so great that I had to write it here. Thank you, Simone!

We were in Manarola for lunch and saw this restaurant up on the hill. It was well worth the climb as the view from up there is amazing. The food was good, the service perfect. I strongly recommend this restaurant

Not worth your time and money. The waiters are not interested in giving proper service, more to get as many people in and paying for the view.

We waited in line for a table with high expectations. When invited in, no one showed us to a table and we had to just guess where to sit. As soon as we sat down, they brought a dessert to our table which was obviously not ours. Another waiter came about 30 seconds later and said ‘order’. He kept returning every 2 minutes to take our order and we were feeling really rushed at this point. Ordered food and drink. The food came quickly but our drinks did not. No cutlery was given with the food and we had to ask for some. The complimentary bread was dry and hard, and had obviously been sitting out for a long time.

Yes the view is nice, but when you are sitting down, you can’t see it well through the grate and you are being sprayed with water anyway. We had much more fun enjoying the view from the nearby pathway and lookout after we left.

You eat there mainly for the view.
But the food seems alright, but only Bruscheta or salad and wine :)
But the pesto bruschetta was good
Salad simple
