Just by chance we passed by this restaurant and decided to book a table. The night before we had eaten in the main square in Stresa and had been disappointed.
The restaurant has an outside area on two sides to the rear, so it's well away from the road. Most of the tables were taken and there was a nice atmosphere.
We ordered antipasti to share, seafood pasta, a swordfish pasta, some house wine, and water. To finish we went for the tiramisu.
The food was exceptional. Fantastic tasting meat and cheese, bruschetta, fresh pasta, fresh seafood, and a lovely tiramisu. There was no comparison between what we had and the night before, which was bland, and tasteless served up by waiters who could not wait to clear your table. The service we received at the Grsnoduro was excellent, and we tipped accordingly. ...we will definitely go back and try some different dishes.

The best pizzas of stresa and surroundings. Try the buffalo pizza, delicious.
Also very friendly staff, definitely à must go restaurant.

We came across this fab restaurant after a stroll down from the train station. It was so good, we have eaten there every day since, despite staying at the beautiful La Palma hotel just down the street. Service is impeccable. The staff are friendly and efficient and despite never booking, we were always accommodated immediately from just walking in. We enjoyed a range of starters - the scallops were gorgeous as was the parmigiana - and I tried two ravioli dishes, the spaghetti and one of their glorious pizzas. All were absolutely gorgeous. My husband chose steak one evening and loved it but he is a pizza king and reckons they are among the best we have had in Italy! Praise indeed! This is a super little place and after a few dodgy poor quality meals in the main tourist square, it was a joy to find it! Thoroughly recommended. Huge thanks to the staff for making it a most memorable part of our holiday! Xx

Very friendly & accommodating staff, with excellent English (which made up for our rather poor Italian). Had a meal there and a takeaway later in the week, both of which were great. Easy to book a table online via their website, which is recommended as they filled up quickly.
