(+) The location is good if you want to stay close to the railway station. The layout of the room is good. I like the bed.

(-) I think it is one of a few hotels in Europe, where they ask you to pay for the Internet (5 euro for 24h). The shower cabin is from a transparent glass and just in front of the window that does not have curtains. The shower itself is hardly warm with a low water pressure. If you want to use a hairdryer, you must push 2 buttons - one is on the wall, another one is on the device itself, which is extremely inconvenient. There are 2 sockets in the room, one of them in the bathroom, the second one is above your head, when you lay down on a bed. Luckily we had to wake up early, otherwise we would have been disturbed by a cleaning lady, who was tiding up a neighboring room. I do not know what she did there but it was extremely loud. Cannot say anything about the breakfast because we did not have a chance to try it.

I found this hotel to be an average hotel for an above average price. The rooms are ok size, but for the price of 270 Euro's per night (double room the week of the Milano furniture fair), I expect better standards throughout. The breakfast is very basic and of a typical Italian standard, a lot of cake and very little healthy food, no or very limited hot water in the shower, slow or no wi-fi in the room and quite cheesy decorated. The redeeming factors for not a lower score is proximity to public transport (7 min walk to Centrale train station) and friendy enough staff. I would put this hotel to be worth in terms of money to aprox. 180 euros a night if you don't have a lot of preferences . This is still a quite high price, but in terms of availability and standard in Milano, for me that would be an ok price. In another city, that would still be to much for this type of standard (Recently stayed in a new 2 bed- & 2 bathroom flat in London for 300 Euros a night and at the 25 Hours hotel in Berlin for the same price. This hotel does not even come close to that standard and value for money)

It looks old and run down but what won this over is the location to the train station. Approximately 7 minutes walk. Just basic for a night stay. The bathroom is spacious though. So that is the winning point. Would recommend this for budget travellers.

Excellent hotel really close to central station and with one metro station 150m away.
Normal breakfast with everything expected for a 3 star hotel.
24 hours of really professional desk service available.

This hotel is charming and very friendly but no special ammendities. Noisy road outside room, which is old but clean. No aircondition or fresh air and window cant be open because of noise. Ok just to sleep. Friendly service though. We would maybe considered another hotel if your picky, but this was recommended by cruise company. There are newer rooms, but we got an old one.
