Nabucco has the distinction of hosting our last dinner in Milan. It is located in the Brera area, on Via Fiori Chiari. As we had had some aperitivo and finger food in the Navagli district, we went light on dinner here, and ordered a crudite gran mix (with oysters, sashimi, and seabass/tuna/salmon tartare), veal milanese, and a salad. The crudité gran mix was delightfully refreshing; it was lightly garnished with olive oil and it whet our appetite. The veal milanese came in a portion much bigger than we had anticipated; not that we were complaning, because as big as it was, it was nicely fried on the outside, and still moist on the inside. In fact, our verdict was it was better than its cousin (the wiener schnitzel). Top marks for the food; the service was pretty good too.
