Great building and exceptional service. Very attentive staff who went out of their way to be helpful. Food for generally very good also. Fantastic staters and wine list was great also. The building is an amazing space. We had a fantastic evening.

Located above the Orta lake Villa Crespi offers excellent accomodation in what was the late 19th century summer residence of a wealthy italian textile dynasty.

Rooms are well appointed, in style with the period. Staff are very friendly and competent. The two Michelin star restaurant of chef and owner Cannavacciuolo is of course well worth a detour and a must if you are spending the night at the villa.

The park is also nice; the unfortunate fact that it is not pieds dans l‘eau has been overcome by the owners offering access to a sister property if you want a swim in the lake or lie by the pool.

Not cheap but highly recommended

This was the final stop of our family trip to Italy, and the best hotel was our last. I have stayed in many hotels but this beautiful boutique hotel had the best service throughout the property of any hotel. We arrived before check in and the concierge reserved four chairs at their beach hotel a short drive down the road, which was amazing. We loved it so much, we went back the next afternoon to rent an electric boat and swim in the crystal blue lake. Lunch/drinks and service was top notch at the sister property. Our three rooms at the Villa were opulent and luxurious. Every aspect was professional and special. The complimentary breakfast was outside on charming grounds and the coffee was incredible. We walked to the historic town to dine and shop and enjoy the sunset. We left early, before breakfast was served our last day, and the valet prepared cappuccinos for us and brought pastries as well, supplying our car with water bottles for our drive. Do not miss this gem.

My wife, son and I stayed at Villa Crespi just for 1 night in August 2022 as part of our summer holidays.
From the moment we arrived Matteo made us feel far more welcome than we have ever felt in any hotel.
Quite simply the best service I have ever experienced.
Nothing was too much trouble and Matteo even managed to organise an early morning breakfast as we had to depart to the airport.
The hotel itself is stunning and look forward to returning and spending a lot more time in both the hotel and Lake Orta.
Thank you Matteo. It was a pleasure meeting you.

The hotel was simply spectacular. The staff was extremely friendly and efficient. The views are stunning. The rooms were beautifully decorated and very comfortable. (It would be a nice addition for the hotel to instal a swimming pool.). We can't wait to return to this wonderful property.
