i spent only one night for a short ski weekend. Hotel is good and in the centre, so no need to use the car and hotel is offering a free park. Staff is helpful. Breakfast is good to get ready for your skli day. Let me say room were not really warm so I could have probably better asked to check the heating

A large group of us stayed here for a weekend. The hotel is brilliantly positioned for restaurants etc. in the village and about 10 mins walk to the ski lift. The staff can be a tad unfriendly but they do wait up for guests until the very early hours so they are probably just tired! Rooms were pretty basic but very clean so no complaints. I've rated Very Good but it's probably only really Good... but better than avergage.

Hotel Centrale is located about 50 yards from the shops, restaurants and bars in Courmayer making it ideal for evening entertainment. That does mean a 10 minute walk to the cable car up the mountain to the pistes, but that's a good compromise for the central location. The hotel itself is well presented, very clean, the staff are friendly and attentive, and the breakfast has a wide range of choices. The bedrooms are a decent size, comfortable and clean. It also has a number of comfortable lounges on the ground floor and what looks like a brand new gym and sauna in the basement. The hotel staff go that bit further when asked, for example, if you check out on your final day and then ski that day, you can use the shower in the sauna to freshen up before leaving in the afternoon/evening. Or larger groups will be allocated a spare hotel room for showering (if available). So all in all, for a weekend ski trip where you mainly want somewhere central to sleep and have breakfast, then the Hotel Centrale is a good choice.

Room Tip: Some rooms have balconies with views over the mountains, others don't.

An excellent location in the center of the village and close to the ski lifts. Nice and helpful people giving the best service. To much noice by other guests made it difficult to get a full nights sleep.

We booked via Booking.com two separate rooms and hotel Centrale could only provide one when we arrived! So the other two had go to the hotel next door, whereas the room was awfully small and uncomfortable, so their experience of the Centrale was very poor. This is something to be aware. On the other hand, our experince (excluding the mentioned episode) was ok. Our room was small, but clean. Beds though were uncomfortable and had old-fashioned blankets. Breakfast was good, excellent coffee. Location is good, next to the main square and some 10-15 min walk to the lift. Village itself is idyllic, but very quiet. There is basically no after-ski, Bar Roma is the only place where people are actually having drinks. In a nutshell, Hotel Centrale is good basic hotel with good location. Courmayeur has good slopes (for two-three days), few good restaurants and no after-ski.
