We wanted a place close to the attractions and this place met the mark. This place is tucked away so we found it to be very quiet but well within walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go (they gave us a great map of the city too). We walked here from the train station but you could easily take a waterbus as there is a stop close by (great if you want to visit Burano or Murano or need to get to the airport). When we booked we were sent a map with clear directions on how to find the place which was very helpful. The room was clean and larger than expected given what I've heard about Venice hotels.
The breakfast area had a little patio so if you are up early you can eat out a canal and get that real Venice experience. Overall the breakfast was better than others we had in Italy and had a fresh pastry, breads, yogurt, cereals, fruits, cheese and eggs that could be boiled.
I would highly recommend this place if wanting to stay in Venice.More
