My friend and I stayed here early November 10-12, 2017. We were on a budget and didn’t want to pay more than $300 per night. We booked on Agoda.com and got a great deal.
We arrived on a day of All Out Ground transportation strike in Italy. It was a long train ride from Rome ( almost 7 hours which should typically only take 3.5) and then had to walk ( with luggage) from the train station in Venice to the hotel, about an hour. However, we were warmly greeted at 11pm by two of the most wonderful staff we’ve ever encountered. They checked us in quickly, carried our bags to the room, then the fabulous Bellhop ”Ryan” walked us across the plaza to a little restaurant, 5 min away. ( Excellent service and food there too!)
The room was on the lower level, right off the courtyard. It was a small room with two twin beds, side by side. We had everything we needed: clean room and linens, stocked mini bar, coffeepot and large wardrobe for our things.
The hotel is beautiful and grand, The furnishings and art seem very old and true to the culture.

The concierge had a map for us and marked our location, then also marked the highlights of where everything was in the city. He advised us on what to see and what to skip, where the biggest crowds would be and when to go.

We absolutely loved our stay. The only negative was the room was very warm at night, but we slept with the window open and felt fine.
We will stay here again!!!!

We have chosen this hotel for the last 4 trips to Venice for a reason. Perfectly located, it is a lovely hotel to use as a base for a visit to the city. Gracious staff match the beauty of the hotel. The breakfasts (especially the coffee and hot chocolate) are a wonderful way to start the day's wanderings. The hotel is a refuge at the end of a long day. The best sleeps in a month in Italy.
We will be back to Venice next year and will stay here again.

Venice took us by surprise. We absolutely loved it here. So much so we are in the middle of re-booking for 2018 too. We stayed in the separate apartment. It is detached from the hotel but it is AMAZING. The place is massive with 2 bathrooms, washing machine as well (which came in handy) and a lovely courtyard. I can not recommend this place enough if you are going to Venice, and book the apartment!

This is a great hotel, with an out of the way location. A little hard to find, but such a nice place. This would be a great place for couples. We were in the junior suite and it was terrific! Great sleep and wonderful accommodations!

Room Tip: Great junior suite! Makes you feel like a princess!
