We had a very good experience here. It's fairly easy to find which is a real benefit in Venice. It's in a fabulous location. There is staff at the desk 24 hrs. and everyone is very nice and helpful. The room was basic but adequate and clean. The breakfast room is small but they set up a lovely area outdoors. We have stayed here twice and I would definitely stay again if I'm ever lucky enough to get back to Venice!

We spent one night with Patricia at Casa Querini and loved it. It's a two minute walk to St Mark's Square on a quiet 'street'. Price, service, location, everything just what we needed. Easy walk to grab the Vaporetti and plenty of shopping and eating around the corner. Stay here, you won't regret it.

We loved our 4 nights at Casa Querini near San Marcos in Venice. Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, and the location is as good as it could be. The personnel at Casa Querini is pleasant and very helpful. Directions were accurate and recommendations excellent. The breakfast space is a bit small, but other guests are pleasant and fun to get to know.

Room Tip: The hotel is on a very quiet side street, so noise is not a problem. Front rooms overlook a beautiful, old square.

We stayed here a couple weeks ago on our first trip in Venice. The B&B has a lot of bonuses and we have no regrets but we also left thinking it has room for improvement and was probably our least favourite place to stay on the entire trip. When we checked in the Italian lady at the front desk was incredibly friendly and helpful. She was awesome, helped give us direction to orient us and provided a useful map and helped us get settled in. Unfortunately we never saw her again for the remainder of our stay.
Then the night shift started with a new guy at the desk and when we were heading out to dinner we asked him for some advise on what's a good place to eat. He was on the internet, chatting on Facebook and didn't bother to point us to anything in particular, just said, head around the corner and you'll find something. Now if you have been to Venice, you know there are a ton of places just around the corner of anywhere. We kind of left it at that and found a place to grab a bite. The day before we checked out, we asked another front desk guy if I can use his printer to print up a train ticket I had booked. He seemed unhappy about this and said, no, he doesn't use a computer when he is there. I know this is not true as there is a laptop sitting there. It seems that at night, this B&B hires migrant workers and these guys just don't seem to want to help a guest out. This really left a bad taste in our mouths.

First the Pros:
Great location
Room was decent sized for Italian B&B
Centrally located yet still quiet in a very busy city
You can take breakfast to your room if you would like to
Wi-Fi worked solidly during our stay which was not always the case in our other accommodations

Cons:
Evening staff should be more helpful and willing to help a guest - I don't think this is unreasonable as we experienced this type of hospitality through our other hosts in Italy.

Dear Guest, thank you so much for your comment.
I ensure that our two nightportiers are very good workers, they take care of all the needs of our guests. Like in every small hotels, they have only duties of controll and surveillance and they can not give office assistance using the computer of the hotel.
The reception services are available untill 7.00 p.m., I suggest you to request print services before that time and not late in the evening.
After 7.00 p.m. the owner of the hotel and the receptionists remain in contact with the nightportiers that update every hour.
When we receive this comment, we was hurt because we consider these boys not as migrant workers but a willing men that to their best to live their life.
Please note that the night-watchman service is our extra benefit that we offer to our guests.

This is a very charming B&B located very close to the Piazza San Marco. While close to some of the most famous attractions in Venice, it's location is well off the beaten tourist path. It's an easy 10 minute walk from the San Zaccaria vaporetto stop with no bridges to cross, which is important when dragging luggage around. Our room was the "Hortensia" on the ground floor behind the reception desk and breakfast room. As a previous reviewer noted, you will hear conversations at the front desk. However, with only 5 other rooms, this was a very rare during my stay and never occurred at unusual hours. The room was very large with a decent size bath, however, the shower was on the small side. It was very clean and nicely decorated and offered a mini refrigerator, climate control and telephone. It also offered two large windows opening right onto the quaint campo the building was located in. This proved to be a very nice benefit for fresh air, but also a bit of a distraction. When locals and visitors did find their way through the square, the sound of their voices and footsteps were amplified, creating a temporary but bearable annoyance. Again, it never really occurred at early or late hours. The breakfast included rolls, croissants, cereal, yogurt, cakes, cookies, juice, tea and coffees. You could eat in the small breakfast room or at one of the few tables directly outside on the campo. All of there staff we met were very friendly and helpful. They offered great suggestions for dining and sightseeing. I would strongly recommend this lovely and charming B&B for anyone interested in visiting Venice.
