My wife and I just returned from our two week vacation in Italy and stayed at the Locanda Casa Querini from June 24th through June 27th during our stay in Venice. Look no further. This is where you need to stay. Patty is an excellent host at this facility and to the city of Venice. We stayed in the one downstair room that has a view out the window into the small square. It is very large for a typical room in Europe and is excellent for two adults. Large bed with large bathroom and shower. Excellent and spotlessly clean during our stay. Not sure why anyone would have anything negative about this facility. Unbelievably close walk to Piazza San Marco, Rialto Bridge, promenade Riva Degli Schiavone and other spectacular sites in this wonderful city. Local cuisine everywhere and many choices to chose around the corner from the hotel and in the entire area of the Castello community. What a beautiful place to stay and visit on vacaiton. I would not hesitate to stay here again and would not even consider staying anywhere else but here. If you have any specific questions or details about statying, feel free to send me an email or question through TripAdvisor.

Patty and her staff are excellent and provide a wonderful breakfast each morning of cappucino, other coffee, breads, cereal, sliced salami, boiled eggs and the most unbelievable blood orange juice that you have ever tasted. Again, would not consider anywhere else to stay during during our next visit to Venice!

Room Tip: Quiet room, great location in the hear of Venice and next to Campo San Marco with unlimited choices for dining and local cuisine nearby.

We stayed at this charming, small 12 room hotel in November of 2011 for 4 nights. The staff were unfailingly friendly and helpful. Our room overlooked the small and clean piazza that this hotel virtually dominated. The rooms are reasonably sized and the bathrooms were a bit small especially the shower (beware if you are on the plus size). Amazing location as it was super close to all the major sites but being tucked into this piazza, it was very quiet and restful. We picked this place based on recommendations from our buddy Rick Steves and for two nights another couple who live in Italy and have stayed at other hotels were next door. They loved it, were surpised at how reasonable the rates are and plan to stay here next time they are in Venice. The breakfast area was a bit cramped but cozy and the breakfast was more than adequate with hard boiled eggs, sliced meats, cheese, coffee or tea, juices, biscuits, etc. Would stay here again without a second thought.

We had a very good experience here. It's fairly easy to find which is a real benefit in Venice. It's in a fabulous location. There is staff at the desk 24 hrs. and everyone is very nice and helpful. The room was basic but adequate and clean. The breakfast room is small but they set up a lovely area outdoors. We have stayed here twice and I would definitely stay again if I'm ever lucky enough to get back to Venice!

We spent one night with Patricia at Casa Querini and loved it. It's a two minute walk to St Mark's Square on a quiet 'street'. Price, service, location, everything just what we needed. Easy walk to grab the Vaporetti and plenty of shopping and eating around the corner. Stay here, you won't regret it.

We loved our 4 nights at Casa Querini near San Marcos in Venice. Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, and the location is as good as it could be. The personnel at Casa Querini is pleasant and very helpful. Directions were accurate and recommendations excellent. The breakfast space is a bit small, but other guests are pleasant and fun to get to know.

Room Tip: The hotel is on a very quiet side street, so noise is not a problem. Front rooms overlook a beautiful, old square.
