Pros:

• Staff deserve 6 out of 5.
• Very ample size bed you could sleep four in.
• Well appointed room.
• Very well cleaned.
• Toiletries renewed daily.
• Breakfast, adequate, happily refreshed if possible but when busy they didn't keep up.
• Parking inside only possible with few guests in the hotel as spaces limited.

Cons:
• In our room there was someone’s balcony looking right into our room.
• Location is the main problem as 25 minutes walk to the town.
• You will need a sat nav to find the place in the labyrinth of streets and one way systems.
• No restaurants nearby.
• Kitchen but no pots or pans supplied.

Room Tip: Choose a room at the front with a balcony.

The building is charming and the courtyard is a pleasant refuge from the cityscape. The value is good. The refurbishment to a residenze was well-done. The staff were for the most part friendly and ever so helpful. The rooms are clean. These are the good things. The location is in a pretty boring and rundown part of town, far from everything. Even the restaurant was 1 kilometer away. (Although an excellent restaurant it was!)
The breakfast was dismal. Both mornings, there was no bread remaining, the eggs were gone and the one morning there was a single bacon strip. The second morning, there was a pile of bacon, but no eggs. The tables were slow to be cleared, the cheese, sausage etc were very slow to be filed up. The room was noisy from the street and early in the morning, also from the hallway. I would like to know how "stars are allocated," as it has 4, but there is very little in the way of amenities.... The rooms are very small, a double best suited for a single. Just no room to open two suitcases or have 2 toiletry bags in the bath.

Room Tip: Try not to be on the first floor near the street. The balconey is easily accessible for would-be thi...

This is a nice hotel for a short stay where you need a clean room and do not care to be out walking in the evening. The staff are very helpful and try to accommodate your needs. We were a group of 8 and they really made our plans easy to get to the airport. Our taxi from the airport to the hotel was VERY expensive - 50Euro. This is not a place for a long stay. Also the beds are very hard!

First when we arrived at the hotel felt sick when saw the area it was located in, far from the centre and very untidy part of the city....the rooms where very clean and comfortable excluding the kitchenette area, litterally you cant move.....I agree with all the other reviews that the staff was very helpful especially all the receptionists, when we asked they were glad to help you.......the parking was convenient......the first day we went down to have breakfast we thought that it was closed already but the thing was very little/nothing food left and everything cold even scrambled eggs cold as ice..this thing continued everyday during our 8 day stay there, when one day asked for more food we waited 30 minutes and no one came with any food.....over all i definitely wont go back again there!!!!!

We stayed here for three nights, and got excellent value for money.
Staff was most helpful and friendly at any time of the day.
The hotel is clean and has an accommodating design.
Breakfast was excellent.
Only issue is location if you want to explore the city - walking distance to the centre is 30 min (if you manage not to get knocked over by one of the looneys on scooters). Public transport is not really predictable, especially if you want to get back. Taxi will cost you about 15.- EUR.
Good location for getting out of town by car.
Also, if you want to take the circumetnea railway for a trip around the Aetna - the station is just 600m away (cibali circumetnea).
Enjoy your stay:)!
