Thank you so much for my stay! This is such a brilliant hotel, with a delicious breakfast of croissants and yogurt and fruit, and food and a coffee machine in the room that is included in the price! My flight tickets were printed for me here at the hotel for free and the atmosphere was lovely. The location is perfect and I felt very safe (as a girl travelling on my own) and cared for.

Great location to reach from the airport shuttle bus that stops right at Politeama, where is about 5 min walk (or less) from the hotel. It is a big shopping area so very safe all day. Many shops and bars and restaurants. Bus stops for Central station is just a block away. About 10-15min bus ride to the Central Station.
There is a small grocery store(Coop) nearby.
Hotel has a very significant sign so it is easy to find. But the gate to the building is closed at night time...that makes somehow confusing to find for tourist,,,maybe. It is a hotel located on one floor of a old building where has a same entrance and address to share with many different other hotels, offices, residents and so on.... So if you happen to arrive after they close the main gate, you need to simply press the bell to ask to open the main door then you can get in and take a lift to the hotel level. There is a someone always at reception so you will be ok.
Each room has fridge that has complimentary bottled water and yogurt, can or coke. Also coffee and tea. A room has a safe. Bathroom has soaps, body shampoos, hair drier. Lines and towels are clean.
Its internet was somehow weak where I stayed.... I couldn't get the signal from where my bed was.... but i could get connected from where my table was.
Breakfast was very basic. What would you expect from what you would be paying at this hotel/B&B? Pastries, some more sweets, fresh fruits, yogurt, cereals...then coffee and tea.
The owner of the place was very helpful. He was the only one who spoke english well during my stay..... All Staff there were very nice...trying to help as much as they could.

Stayed here after reading about it on TripAdvisor and as others have said Giuseppe is very helpful. We had a very pleasant room - it is simple but clean and spacious and we had a nice big opening door to the street up high- which was handy to the port, Piazza Politeama and a nice piazzetta Bagnasco where we found some really nice places to eat like Formaggando. the crazy but amazingly good gelato place Brioche is nearby too. Giuseepe let us leave our luggage for the day when we went off sight-seeing but were moving on to another destination later that day - which was terribly handy for us. Yes, definitely recommend.

Cant say enough good thinks about this place. Excellent staff, very convenient location and very very very reasonably priced.

I stayed 2 nights there with my Girlfriend before we flew home to Ireland. Highly recommend a stay here. I came on to tripadvisor to find a nice place to stay near to where the airport shuttle bus leaves. it also happens that the hotel is near other nice attractions and restaurants in Palermo. When I made the booking Giuseppe gave me very simple instructions to find the Hotel (bus 101 from outside the train station on the left, 6 or 7 stops up Via Roma, very easy to find and the tobacconist beside does sell tickets for the bus and does speak enough English to complete the transaction even if he pretends not to!!)
On arrival we were shown to out very spacious and very comfortable room. There was a Nespresso type coffee machine with coffees and also teas, biscuits and nutella on the table. Then in the fridge there was water, yogurt and a can of coke. We couldn't believe it especially when he said it was all included in the price! On top of this there was breakfast with had coffee, juices, fresh fruit and pastries. We had spent the last week camping so by our standards all of this was pure luxury! There was someone on on the front desk day and night and although the gentleman that was working at night didnt have much English he was very friendly and did his best to try help. He seamed to be a very happy fellow as he was always smiling! Fast wifi, great AirCon.
I would most definitely return to stay there and have already recommend to my parents who are planning a trip soon.

I went to this hotel last September. It was perfect in every way and I would highly recommend it especially to people who just want toa have a relaxing time mixed with a bit of veriety. The food in the hotel is excellent and the service was very good. Hopefully I will be returning to the Ariston shortly.
