We found this restaurant on tripadvisor and easily booked it through the fork function on the app. We were eating early as we had plans later in the evening. When we arrived we were seated in the courtyard area which has a fantastic atmosphere. I ordered mussel soup to start and my girlfriend had mixed clams and mussels, both arrived promptly and tasted great. We were recommend a local wine by the host which was great. For main we again ordered fish with my girlfriend having almond crusted salmon and myself having fish of day which again was recommend by the host and came fried. The mains again were splendid and very tasty. Finally for dessert we both ordered tiramisu and it was excellent. Overall the food was great, and well priced. The host was very attentive and recommend some great food and drink! If you are looking for local fresh well priced food with fantastic service and atmosphere Aranciara is the place for you!!

Recommend by the hotel concierge. Pretty little courtyard at end of narrow street.

The owner (I presume) is hilarious. Food and wine both excellent - this is a €50 a head type of place.

The owner invites local troops of buskers in to play. Be warned bring some small change. All good fun. His party piece is then to sing himself to karaoke. Bonkers - but great fun.

My wife and I were recommended this restaurant by our Hotel the Belmond.

It is situated down a remote side street and within a stone courtyard

The food is authentic and fresh - straight of the boat. If there is no fresh fish for a particular dish then they will say so . No frozen rubbish here.

Very well prepared , delicious and typical Sicilian. Can be smart or casual here .

Give it a go !
