We stayed for 5 nights. Debora managed and hosted our stay primarily and she is a kind and diligent host to say the least. She provided us amazing breakfasts and delicious cappuccinos, as well as warm friendship and conversation. Each evening we returned to find our room had been cleaned, and tidied up beautifully. We stayed in the Decanter room and it was spotless, and beautifully appointed. We slept very well thanks to how quiet it was, and the air conditioning works beautifully. We are from the Pacific NW so it doesn't take much warm weather to get us pining for some cool air. Debora's husband Arnaldo was also a warm, hospitable host. These folks work tirelessly and conscientiously to provide a wonderful, quality stay in Cortona and their restaurant (Taverna) is fantastic. We feel we have made new friends, and we intend to make Locanda Pane e Vino our home away from home again when we travel to Italy. Our stay here was the highlight of our trip. We left some stones unturned in Cortona....more reasons to return. we highly recommend Locanda Pane e Vino.More
