I slept in a four bed dorm on a floor with 4 rooms. We shared 2 really nice bathrooms which were really clean and the rainforest shower was amazing! The kitchen has many cooking tools and two fridges give enough space. In the night it was really quiet and the AC did a good job!
The location of the hostel is great as it is really close to the main trainstation, only 5 minutes walking to the old citycentre and there are a few cafes and shops around. The prizes are a little higher but for me that was fine as I all in all I had a really nice stay!

This hostel was close to the train station and the lady at the front was nice. It was a nice place to take a shower and sleep and continue our trip in the morning. A little coffee shop right down the street was a nice place to grab something to eat. Me and my friend would stay here again if we made our way back to Florence.

Generally, this place is quite good. It is very near to the train station. The room and beds are very clean and comfortable. The kitchen is also very good. You can cook whatever you want. There is also a TV in the room.

Ciao hostel is an excellent place to stay in florence. It is located at 10 minutes walking distance from railway station. The room was very big, clean, and comfortable, with a good working air condition. The city centre and food stuff is easily accessible.

I spent there four nights in a mixed room on ground floor. Although it was a mixed room, during my stay there was only one guy in the room. I arrived there a bit late at night (11 pm) because my train was late (a very common thing in Italy :P) which was a problem because the hostel reception works until 9 pm officially. Because of this, I had to pay 20 euros of fine :/ Despite of this, there is pros and cons of my stay:

PROS:
*Good and clean room. Comfy beds, with a plug in each bed;
*Towels for free;
*Good kitchen, with a table;
*Good bathrooms, outside but near of the room;
*Good location, considerably near to SMN Station but a bit far from centre which is a problem to elderly or low mobility people;
*There is a lift;
*Free wifi with a good signal;

CONS:
*Could have a 24 hour reception;
*Could have a common area;
*Could have a bar/kiosk with breakfast available, for free or to buy;
*One of the bed sheets (the colour one, most external) was not changed by the maid only the white ones (I saw she cleaning the rooms one day);
*There are some but not much restaurants nearby. Although, I found a little market next to SMN station.

Overall, It is a decent place to stay. Recommend it, but be aware about the arrival time to avoid fines.

Room Tip: It seems to me that the mixed dorms are located on ground floor
