Neat museum tucked away, the old house of Dante. We're not huge fans but thought it would be worth checking out - it was. Also the death mask is here too (highly debated subject) so all in all, interesting for an hour or so.

Thank Scott E

Just a small museum, very interesting exhibits and information. Fascinating to see all these medieval gems... would have been interesting to have a tour guide of the area where we could have more interesting facts of his life and works.

It is small but worth it!!!

If you like Dante's divine comedy, you should definitly visit this museum. You find a history of his family, some instruments and precious stone that are mentioned in the divine comedy. also there's a room filled with artwork about the divine comedy and the artwork itself, divided to inferno, purgatory and paradise hanging on the walls.

It is a small museum that doesn't take long to go through. It was interesting but probably could be done a bit better.

During visit hoped to learn more about Dante and his work, but couldn't learn a lot and even not show it to our kid. The building is more about some aspects of life at the time Dante was alife, but not about him. The price is rather small (adults 4€ and 2€ for kids), but not even worth it.
