Our group of 7 went on a wine tour while in Florence, the tour showcased the region. We had a wonderful day and our guide could not have been more fun. If we ever make it back I would take another tour with this company as well recommending to my friends.

So much to see and do and experience in Italy on our first trio to this beautiful country and this Chianti Wine Tour was one of the highlights. Tuscany is an absolutely gorgeous part of Italy and our tour guide Antonio made sure we had a fantastic experience. The visits to the two vineyards amd wineries in the Chianti region was something we wanted to do for a long time and was really better than we expected. The Tuscan lunch at the second winery was probably the best meal we had on our holiday. We loved the guided tour of San Gimignano with Antonio telling us very interesting stories of the place and we it's highly recommended it.

The pick up n drop of was nicely arranged and was hassle free.

All in all it was an absolutely brilliant day thanks to Fun in Tuscany.

We were three family members and really enjoyed this Cjianti wine tour. Ilaria was our tour guide and she made our day really unforgettable, really funny, knowledgeable and friendly. We went to two vineyards, San Gimignano and Piazza Michelangelo, which were an excellent experience. It was a small group of 7 people. The van is very comfortable and has a/c. Ilaria speaks English, Spanish and Italian very well. Lunch was really good, traditional tuscany. We highly recommended it.

We visited two wineries and the village of San Simignano. The first winery is a working farm and the tour is largely about the farm and how it operates. We got great insights into some of the operational challenges of such a place, all the while taking in some gorgeous Tuscan scenery. Then it was on to the wine tasting. Bread, cheese and the farms own olive oil complement their wines well. The farm staff could not be more friendly toward us. After we tasted some wines we were led to the farm shop where we were offered grappa and coffee, and given the opportunity to buy their produce. They also ship any of this home for you, for a price of course. If you’re interested it’s good value for money even with shipping.

Christian, our tour guide is excellent. He clearly loves Tuscany has a great sense of humour and his enthusiasm is infectious. We were never bored all day. He took us to San Gimignano and knows a lot about the history of the place.

By an enormous coincidence we bumped into his great friend who runs a gelateria there, and another who sells local honey. Everybody knows that tour guides have relationships with vendors on their tours, and get commissions on sales they bring in. On this particular tour there was absolutely no pressure to buy anything and it didn’t detract from the day at all. We were there largely to see the village, buying things was an aside. I’ve been on tours where it was obvious the entire day was geared toward us buying as much as possible from the guides “good friends”, this one was not in the least like that.

The second winery we visited was all about wine and food pairing. Julia, the guide here also runs the winery and is funny and informative. You get fed well and get lots of delicious wines to drink. Again, there’s an opportunity to buy and ship home their produce at the end. Again, there was no hint of obligation to do so.

On the way back, Christian took us to Piazza Michelangelo to take in the gorgeous views of Florence from above, just in time for sunset.

All in all this was a great day out made all the better by Christian and his boundless knowledge of and enthusiasm for Tuscany. I can’t recommend this enough.
