Great apartment. The host was super friendly and helpful and she speaks English. She offered to help us with the lunch reservation and she recommended an amazing typical local trattoria that needed up to be outstanding. She also walked with us to the museums bookstore to guide us to purchase the tickets for galleries.
The place it was super cleaned with an amazing atmosphere, located in front of the Academia Galleria. Walking distance to everywhere

Outstanding apartments.......staff could not have been more helpful. Just wonderful. Perfect location. The history of a beautiful 15th century building with all the mod cons and space that you need. Do it!

Palazzo Alfani, run by Francesca and her husband, is a wonderful place to stay if you want to enjoy the delights of this famous Tuscan city. Check out the older rooms with high ceilings, adorned with colourful frescos, which you won't find in a conventional hotel. Francesca was warm and embracing, an Italian straight out of Hollywood central casting. She was fantastically helpful throughout our trip and made us feel part of the family. You won't regret staying here if you are lucky enough to get a room. Alan

Room Tip: Ask for a room with the ceiling frescos

Stayed for 2 nights in Palazzo Alfani and what a wonderful place it was to stay at. Location could not be any better as we were only a few minutes walk to the Duomo and right outside the Accademia Gallery. Francesca was extremful helpful throughout our stay from assisting with arriving at the property to restaurants to visit and she was always available if needed. We loved the luxury of having our own apartment for the 2 nights that overlooked a communal garden it felt we were part of Florence residents and not a tourist staying in a hotel. Apartment 1b was lovely and had everything you wanted in an apartment. Florence is a lovely city and the 2 days we had was not enough to enjoy the city. We SHALL be back and will defiantly be contacting Francesca to stay at her Residence once again. Can only say positive things about the Residence and lively Florence.

Room Tip: Over looking the garden to avoid the busy street noise
