The location is a little out of the way, considering that it is several streets further up from Piazza di San Lorenzo, but I went to it anyway, first time, because I wanted to compare its sandwiches with the ones from the "other" super popular place in town, on Via dei Neri. I had an exquisitely tasty panino with a locally produced, fennel-flavored salami, sun-dried tomatoes and a truffle spread. It was really very good; however, the "other" place has just as many tasty choices and friendlier service, besides being situated at a location that I usually walk by many times, when I'm in Florence. Tough choice. Both places are great—but the "other" place wins it for me.
