Your don't come here for anything other than the beef, either as Bistecca Fiorentina or as Tagliata, both of which are done traditionally, and with expertise and a first class product.
Forget the tourist Florence, this is on a side road, off a side road, at the back end of Fiesole - so a car is essential. Nothing from the outside, and forget dim romanticism, this is true Italian meat eating done to perfection. Happy and efficient waitressing, a proper host, and on a Friday night, packed with locals out for their cholesterol dose of the weekend - but worth it every time.
Arrived at 8:30pm, and only just beginning to fill up. House wine is fine, if not exceptional. Incredible value for what you get.
