After a weeks trip in Europe we landed in Livorno where we were supposed to stay for another week. After having pizzas and pastas we were craving to have Indian food, we searched for Indian restaurants on trip and found this one was which was 15-20 mins walk from NH Grand Hotel Palazzo. The ambience was based on Indian marriage theme and the lady owner was Punjabi wearing full fledged Indian accessories and clothes. We could see Italians relishing Indian food. We ordered dal makhani, paneer Tikka masala, roti, Naan, gulab jamun, kulfi and to name a few. Next 5 days we had our dinner over here. Mondays this restaurant remains closed. They start serving from 7.00 am and also serve breakfast. One day we ordered piping hot samosas and thoroughly enjoyed it on a rainy day. The taste was very good, least spicy to suit the Italian palate and really home Food away from home. They serve basmati rice which the Italiano are very fond of.
