We visited this restaurant today before we got on our plane to return to London after 3 weeks in the most amazing country for food and wine. And this was one of the best places to finish off our tour, Four of us, (14 & 16 yr old as well) visited the restaurant at 12. We didn't finish breakfast in San Vincenzo until 9.30 so we didn't feel we were really hungry but we wanted to have a nice experience to finish our holiday.
We were given English Menus but just asked for the Main course of the steak and asked for the waiter advice on the best steak for 4 on the day, he gave us the advice and said the 1.4 steak would be perfect for the four of us, we also ordered rocket and Parmesan to be served with it. We were given a plate of fantastic local ham and bread which looked like enough for about 8 people but it was gone in no time!
The steak was unbelievable and came with roast potatoes, also complimentary was a small chocolate hazelnut mouse to finish the meal,
The waiter and the service was excellent and it was only 5 minutes from the car return in Pisa Airport.
